what is a juice cleanse?

delicious.  during a juice cleanse, you drink juice, water & tea, that's it.  eliminating solid food from your routine for a few days can be a mental challenge, but the benefits are awesome!  it's like pressing the restart button for your body and mind.  this gives your digestive system a break and allows your body to flush out harmful toxins.

how long should i cleanse?

if this is your first juice cleanse, ease into it with 1-2 days.  if you want to take it a step further, try 3 days.  most importantly, listen to your body.

detoxification is the process of removing toxic substances from the body.  this occurs by removing impurities from the blood in the liver where toxins are processed for elimination.  juicing aids in your natural detoxing process by giving your body essential nutrients and antioxidants - nourishment without the extra junk!

    yes, the goal of cleansing is to curb your solid food intake, but if you need an extra boost, why not try:

    • 2 cups raw or steamed green vegetables
    • up to 3 egg whites at dinnertime
    • 1 to 2 cups of coffee or green tea, unsweetened or with maple syrup

    after

    post-cleanse eating is all about slowly progressing from easily digestible, hydrating foods (fruit, cucumbers, leafy vegetables, avocados) to the heavier, more filling foods.  remember, our juices aren't just for cleansing!

    what do you get?

    each package contains six 12-ounce juices and mylks a day.  these should be consumed throughout the day with a lot of water / green tea.
