Cleanse & Renew Yoga Retreat: A path into wellness
Cleanse and Renew Retreat
A path into wellness.
Press the pause bottom and retreat to a local oasis with Danielle and Barbara where you will spend 3 days learning, revitalizing, and cleansing from the inside out. This retreat blends the wisdom practices of the Yoga tradition and plant-empowering, health-FULL and delicious fueling of your body, mind and spirit. In the same way you do spring cleaning in your home, it is of paramount importance to pause and cleanse the house that houses YOU as toxins from the environment, poor food choices, and stress build up compromise our immune system.
Danielle, from Roots to Rise will provide you with a taste of pure nature. A spring renewal plan that incorporates foods that are alkaline-heavy, cleansing, and filling. Packed with nutrients and antioxidants allowing your body to detox from toxins which accumulate from eating overly processed foods, artificial sweeteners, refined sugar and flour, hormone-based dairy and meats, and other commercially made foods, she will teach you how to truly cleanse in a safe and holistic way so you can completely recharge and BE the best version of YOU.
Barbara’s intuitive approach to the Yoga practice will support your path to wellness. She will create a safe environment to allow you to become aware of all that you have been holding on to and accumulating in your body and mind. Using the integrative practice of Yoga, she will invite you, on your own time, to burn away the holdings as you access the transforming power of the fire within you. Her creative sequences will move you deeply, and the transcendental practices she shares will open the possibility for transformation to occur. By the end of the 3 days you will move forward with confidence, clarity and a sense of ease.

Danielle is a curious, creative, and culinary mad-scientist with a passion for providing others with healthy, whole, pure, clean, honest, DELICIOUS, and locally crafted cold-pressed juices and meals. She has been a mad-scientist chef since age 9, mixing up all sorts of concoctions and trying them out on her family and friends. She turned her passion into a business in 2018 with her partner-in-life Eddie. Ever since then, Roots to Rise has been whipping up some stellar goodness that truly brings a smile to lips, body, and soul.
Danielle is also a mom of two wild and wonderful little ladies, a 200-hour certified yoga instructor, a constant student, a gardener at heart, a dance-in-the-kitchen-as-much-as-you-can gal, and an ever-growing, changing and overall sun-filled being. She says, “My love in life is to feel and spread joy and light in whatever capacity I can. Handling and cherishing the incredible bounty mother nature provides us while creating combinations into tastes of pure delicious nature for others to enjoy, is the best gift I can give, receive, and share.”
Barbara is a 500-hour certified master Yoga and meditation teacher, energy medicine practitioner, End of Life Doula, and overall Spiritual guide who believes in the importance of a wholistic approach to self-care and healing. She shares wellness practices wholeheartedly with the intention to see the fullness of who you are beyond a physical body.
Barbara’s Yoga journey began 14 years ago practicing Bikram, Ashtanga and Baptiste Yoga. In 2012 she took her first 200 hours teacher training and from there many more trainings including Vinyasa and Bhakti flow and Yin Yoga. But her longing to go beyond the physical body, took her to India where she completed her 500 hours teacher training and became a certify master teacher in the Himalayan Kundalini tradition and Tantric practices, which are not often offer here in the West. Through her dedication to the practice she realized the Yoga journey is one of healing. Which led her to study various energy healing modalities inspiring her to become an Energy medicine practitioner. Almost at the same time as the caregiver of her dying father she realized the practice of Yoga is not only for healthy people that can step on a mat but It can bring great benefits to all people at all stages of their live. This realization awakened the calling to became an End of Life Doula and use the wisdom and practices of the Yoga tradition to support people on their transition.
Today, Barbara is beyond grateful for not only the practices that created space for her to heal but also for the opportunity to create space for others to heal and live their most fulfilled lives. She says, “Healing is not what I do, but who I am.”
